Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of increasing students' interest in saving through an approach to Islamic business ethics and optimal employee service. Islamic business ethics play a role in shaping sharia trust and values in financial transactions, while quality employee service is able to create a positive experience and students' loyalty to Islamic financial institutions.
This study aims to determine the influence of Islamic Business Ethics (X1) and Employee Service (X2) on the Saving Interest (Y) of students of SMK Darussalam Blokagung at USPPS Ausath Blokagung. The research uses an associative type quantitative approach. Data was collected through a questionnaire to 93 students, determined by the Slovin formula. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with partial (t), simultaneous (F), and coefficient of determination (R²) tests.
The results of the study showed that: 1) Islamic Business Ethics had an effect but was not significant on students' Interest in Savings, with a value of t = -0.227 and a significance of 0.821 (> 0.05); 2) Employee Service has a positive and significant effect on students' Interest in Savings, shown by the value of t = 30.940 and the significance of 0.000 (< 0.05); 3) Simultaneously, Islamic Business Ethics and Employee Service had a significant effect on students' Interest in Savings, with a value of F = 484.334 and a significance of 0.000 (< 0.05), and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.915. These findings indicate that the higher the quality of services and the application of sharia values, the greater the potential for an increase in students' interest in saving.
This study shows that Islamic Business Ethics has an influence on students' Interest in Saving but is not significant. Meanwhile, Employee Services has been proven to have a positive and significant effect on Interest in Savings. Simultaneously, these two variables have a significant influence with a contribution of 91.5%. These findings confirm that improving service quality and the application of sharia values can encourage an increase in students' interest in saving.
